About

I started making my own clothes when I was 13 and haven't stopped since. I love being able to hack patterns as well as drafting my own to fit my style, and I hope to inspire a younger generation of dressmakers. Sewing has offered me a distraction from everyday stresses, it's wonderful to have a creative outlet that I can be fully immersed in. There's also nothing quite like being able to wear something you've made, especially if someone asks where you bought it! As well as dressmaking I enjoy English Paper Piecing, meaning I'm never far away from a needle and thread.

I've been featured in two national sewing magazines, Suzy Magazine and Sew Now. I also blog for other people, most frequently Craft Cotton Co and Minerva. In 2019 I won the 'Upcycle' category in the Knitting & Stitching Show dressmaking competition which I wrote about here.
